Thanks to the Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) which the marketing team visited in October 2009, a media team with 20 journalists, promoting Western Kenya, was send to Mago Guesthouse on the 22nd of January 2010. The journalists came from TV stations (KBC, KTN, Citizen, K24, NTV), radio stations (KISS FM, Capital FM) and newspapers (Standard, Nation, Nairobi Star, People daily, E.A.) and were interviewing the management of the guesthouse. The journalists were very enthusiastic about our community project here in Mago and left the following day and they will publish the interviews and help to promote Western Kenya including Mago Guesthouse.
