ACTIVITIES

Activities on the school compound:

  • Take a guided tour at Mago Polytechnic and interact with the students.
  • Have fun and participate in an exciting football- or volleyball match with the students. 

Activities outside the school compound: 

  • Take a walk to the local market and interact with the friendly local people.
  • Visit the local tea factory and plantations and learn how tea is picked, processed and also participate in tea testing.
  • A guided tour to Kakamega Rain Forest, hosting more than 330 bird species,monkeys, butterflys and rare snakes in an impressive forest
  • Visit to Kaimosi waterfall and have a picnic lunch.
  • A visit to Kisumu with museum and local market.
  • See unique Bull fights near Kakamega in Sigalagala.
  • Visit Barack Obama's grandmother's house which is only 1,5 hours away.
  • Boat trip on Lake Victoria to Ndere Island National Park, famous for its spotted crocodile.
