Activities on the school compound:

-         Take a guided tour of Mago Polytechnic and interact with the students.

-         Learn to cook delicious local dishes from Catering & Hospitality Management students. 

-         Have fun and participate in an exciting football or volleyball match with the students.

Activities outside the school compound:

-         Take a walk to the local market and interact with the friendly local people.

-         Take a hike together with the students with stop over for a chat with the locals.

-         Visit the local tea factory and plantations and learn how tea is picked, processed and also participate in tea testing.

-         A guided tour to Kakamega Rain Forest, home to more than 330 bird species, butterfly and rare sneaks in the world with exuberant flora and fauna.

-         Visit to Kaimosi waterfall and have a picnic lunch.

-         A visit to the interesting and informative Kisumu museum.

-         Visit to the most animated Kisumu market and certainly one of the largest in Kenya.

-    See unique Bull fights near Kakamega in Sigalagala.

-    Visit Barack Obama's grandmother's house which is only 1,5 hours away.

-         Boat trip on Lake Victoria to Ndere Island National Park, famous for its spotted crocodile.

-    Enjoy watching birdlife in in Bird Sanctuary of Kisumu or visit the Impala
Sanctuary for spotting Lions, Leopards, Hyenas and other wild animals.
